Aera Support Community Group

Aera Support provides welcoming, person-centred day services for adults with disabilities, sensory impairments, and learning disabilities. Our groups offer a safe, supportive environment where individuals can enjoy social interaction, develop daily living skills, and participate in a wide range of engaging activities.

What We Offer:

  • Fully accessible facilities, including a personal care room with tracking hoist and adjustable care bed.
  • Experienced, fully trained support workers with over 30 years of expertise.
  • Activities planned with input from attendees, ensuring everyone’s voice is heard.
  • Opportunities for socialising and reducing isolation.
  • Free taster session for new clients to try our service.

*Some activities may incur additional charges, which will be discussed and agreed in advance.

Session Details:

  • Groups run Monday to Friday, 9:00 am – 3:00 pm.
  • Drinks included in daily cost; support provided to purchase food on site or locally.

Cost:

  • Standard rate: £79.44 per day / £39.72 half day
  • Enhanced rate (includes 1:1 support): £123 per day / £61.50 half day
  • Assessment provided to determine support needs and appropriate rate.

Location: Genesis Business and Conference Centre, 32-46 King Street, Alfreton, DE55 7DQ. The venue is fully accessible, with disabled toilets and a popular on-site café for additional social opportunities.
