Medway Neuro-Cafes are friendly, welcoming community spaces designed to support people living with neurological conditions, their families, and carers. Our cafes and information points offer a safe place to meet others, share experiences, and reduce isolation.
What we offer:
- Regular drop-in sessions at several locations across Medway, including Strood, Rochester, Hoo, and Gillingham.
- Opportunities to connect with others facing similar challenges, enjoy refreshments, and take part in activities such as crafts and occasional cookery classes.
- Information stalls staffed by volunteers and partner charities, providing advice and signposting to further support.
- Specialist sessions hosted by charities including Parkinson's UK, FASD Awareness, and groups for rare conditions.
- Support for all neurological conditions, including Functional Neurological Disorder (FND).
- Collaboration with Medway Adult Education for community learning activities.
