Medway Short Intervention Therapy (SIT) project

Medway Short Intervention Therapy (SIT) project - Exclusive to Medway residents, the SIT project has been designed for CYP aged 5-18, or 18-25 for those with SEN or care leavers, to access short intervention therapy for a minimum of 6 and a maximum of 12 sessions. The sessions will be delivered in both one to one and group settings. This service is suitable for children and young people who are accessing Children’s Social Care, including Children in Care and Care Leavers, using one of 3 therapeutic disciplines; Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) or Creative therapy.

Service access criteria: Children and Young Person's Services, designed for those aged 5-18, or 18-25 for those with SEN or care leavers. (Please note this referral must be from a professional working with a CYP in Medway that has either Looked after, Previously Looked After or a Care Leaver.)
