Coventry Vision Hub (formerly Coventry Resource Centre for the Blind) is a friendly and active charity dedicated to supporting blind and partially sighted people in Coventry and the surrounding areas.
We offer a wide range of practical and social support to help people affected by sight loss live more independently and stay connected with their community. Our services are designed to empower individuals, build confidence, and reduce isolation.
- Activities: Join our regular social groups, creative writing sessions, and tandem cycling events to meet others and enjoy new experiences.
- Minibus: Accessible transport to help you attend our centre and activities.
- Equipment: Advice and access to helpful tools and technology for daily living.
- Helpdesk: Friendly support and information for anyone affected by sight loss.

We also offer opportunities for volunteering, fundraising, and creative projects. Our centre is a welcoming space where you can find companionship, practical help, and a sense of belonging.
Who can use this service? Anyone in Coventry or nearby areas who is blind or partially sighted, as well as their families and carers.
How to access: Visit us at our centre, call, or email for more information. Most services are free, and our team is here to help you find the support you need.
Opening hours: Monday to Friday, 9am – 4pm.
We accept self-referrals and referrals from professionals. Our objectives are to support people with sight loss to regain and retain their independence, to live well and thrive by learning to manage the unique challenges they face.
We are a welcoming and friendly charity and will take on most referrals but reserve the right to reject those where the reason for referral is not related to sight loss.
We do not offer any personal care at Coventry Vision Hub. Those who require additional personal care must bring a support worker with them.
