QEF Mobility Services in Carshalton is one of the UK’s largest providers of mobility advice and support for people with disabilities and age-related impairments. We offer a wide range of assessments and information services to help people of all ages become more mobile and independent.

Our services include:

  • Driving lessons and retraining with instructors experienced in teaching people with disabilities, including deaf clients
  • Transfer and seating assessments for adults and children, with opportunities to trial equipment and receive advice on posture

  • Tryb4uFly assessments to empower disabled people to travel confidently by air
  • Equipment hire, including wheelchairs, scooters, and Bugzi mini powered chairs for young children
  • Accessible transport advice for those who have given up driving or are planning to retire from driving
  • Children’s mobility assessments to support disabled children’s independence

No referral is required to access our services. We complete around 1,300 mobility assessments each year and provide advice and training with adaptations to ensure maximum mobility.

How to access:

  • Complete our client enquiry form or call us on 0208 770 1151
  • Bring your driving licence (if applicable), proof of ID, any medication, glasses, and hearing aids to your assessment
  • Assessments typically last up to four hours

Cost: Assessment fees vary depending on the type and referral source. Our team will confirm costs at the time of booking.

Facilities: Water, tea, and coffee are available on site. Snacks may be available via vending machine.

We are accredited by Driving Mobility, ensuring high standards and best practice across our services.

Service access criteria: We provide a wide range of services focused on helping people of all ages become mobile and independent.
