Therapeutic yoga in nature

Kath will be leading a gentle therapeutic session in hatha yoga. The session will be designed to still the mind, release tension in the body, and bring balance back to the nervous system leaving you feeling both calm and energised. 

You don't need any prior experience for this gentle Hatha yoga class run by a local Social Prescribing Link Worker.

Beginners and people of any age and ability are welcome. The teacher will adapt and modify every practice so that you can participate fully and work at your own pace in a supportive and non-judgemental atmosphere.

Research has demonstrated that a regular yoga practice will have a positive effect on your health, happiness and wellbeing. Yoga is especially beneficial if you:

Suffer from stress or anxiety or mild depression
Need to lose weight
Need to improve your heart health
Need to lower your risk of Type 2 diabetes
*Please note this class is NOT chair based and so you must be able to get up and down from the floor easily.

**Students referred from a Social Prescribing Link Worker (SPLW) can get a discount using the code DON-24 (currently £8 per session). Also enquire with your SPLW if you would like to cover the costs with a grant.
