Headway South Bucks

Headway is the UK charity working to improve life after having a brain injury. As well as providing online support, they also help with rehabilitation therapies, counselling and cognitive stimulation.

Headway South Bucks run a day centre 3 days a week based in Bourne End. The centre is open Tuesday to Thursday 10.30am - 3.30pm. We offer a friendly social environment for adults with an acquired brain injury. We provide a variety of activities either led by outside therapists or our staff team. These range from seated zumba, arts and crafts, music therapy, pets as therapy, cooking, board games, memory games and quizzes. We also organise trips in the local area such as boat trips, visits to the garden centre, coffee shops etc. We offer day events a couple of times a year such as lunch and a theatre trip and an annual Christmas lunch party.
