Pheonix Post-Diagnosis Support Group - Nuneaton

Phoenix Group North Warwickshire is a specialist charity dedicated to supporting people living with dementia and their carers. We offer a friendly, non-clinical environment where members can share experiences, build self-esteem, and enjoy social interaction.

Our weekly clubs provide a safe and welcoming space for people with dementia and their carers to connect, relax, and participate in activities that promote living well with dementia. We operate two clubs:

  • Atherstone & Kingsbury Club: Held at Wood End Working Mens' Club on Tuesdays, 11:00am – 3:00pm.
  • Nuneaton Club: Held at Ambleside Community and Sports Club, Nuneaton, also on Tuesdays, 11:00am – 3:00pm.

Both clubs are open to all, but for health and safety reasons, people with dementia must be accompanied by a carer. Carers are welcome to attend with or without the person they care for. The clubs are designed to support both carers and those living with dementia, offering respite, fellowship, and access to a network of shared knowledge and experience.

What we offer:

  • Weekly social meetings in a friendly atmosphere
  • Opportunities to share experiences and support one another
  • Access to speakers and information about dementia care
  • Fundraising for social events and activities

We operate in the local communities of North Warwickshire and are financially independent, raising funds to support our activities. Our aim is to help people make informed decisions about their care pathway and to promote awareness of available community support.
