MOVEability’s Seated Chair Exercise Classes are specially designed for people living with Parkinson’s disease. Our expert-led sessions help participants maintain and improve their physical and mental well-being in a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment.
Each class features a warm-up, 4-5 dance and movement routines to popular tunes, and a gentle cool down. The programme is tailored to enhance flexibility, aerobic health, balance, and strength, ensuring everyone can participate comfortably—regardless of ability or experience.
- Mobility & Flexibility: Gentle movements improve joint range and flexibility, making daily tasks easier and more comfortable.
- Balance & Strength: Targeted exercises boost stability, coordination, and muscle strength, helping reduce the risk of falls and increase independence.
- Well-being Boost: Classes foster social connection, improve mood, reduce stress, and support cognitive function.
