Peterborough Foodbank

Peterborough Foodbank provides three days of emergency food supplies to local people in crisis who live in Peterborough. If you are struggling to afford food, we are here to help you through difficult times.

Our service is free and includes:

  • Three days’ worth of nutritionally balanced food parcels
  • Signposting to further support and advice
  • Befriending and a friendly welcome at our centres

How to access help:

  • If you are in financial crisis, call the free national helpline Help through Hardship on 0808 2082138 (Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm) to speak confidentially with a trained Citizens Advice adviser. They can help you maximise your income, navigate benefits, and may issue you a voucher for emergency food.
  • Once you have a voucher, visit one of our foodbank centres during opening hours to collect your parcel.

Foodbank Centre Opening Times:

  • Monday & Tuesday: Bretton (11am-1pm)
  • Wednesday & Thursday: Salvation Army (11am-1pm)
  • Friday & Saturday: Dogsthorpe Methodist Church (11am-1pm)
  • Thursday: Christ the Servant King Hampton (7pm-9pm)

Donations: If you wish to donate food, please bring your donations to our warehouse at Dodson House, Dodson Way, Fengate, PE1 5XG. Opening hours: Monday-Friday 10am-1pm, Saturday 10:30am-12:30pm.

We rely on the support of our local community for food donations, volunteering, and financial contributions. Can you help us stop UK hunger?
