Change Grow Live (CGL) Coventry - Drugs/Alcohol

Coventry Drug & Alcohol Service offers free and confidential support for anyone in Coventry who is struggling with drug or alcohol use. Our experienced and non-judgemental team is here to help you make positive changes in your life, whether you want to cut down or stop completely.

We provide a range of services, including:

  • One-to-one support and advice from qualified staff and volunteers
  • Information to help you reduce or stop substance use
  • Needle and Syringe Programme: free, safer injecting equipment and safe disposal
  • Recovery Café (Simon’s Café): free hot drinks and breakfast for those actively receiving support
  • Group sessions such as Relapse Prevention, SMART Recovery, Foundations of Growth/Change, and Exploring Change
  • Specialist groups for women, men, and overdose awareness/naloxone training
  • Family, friends, and carers support groups
  • Community outreach via our welfare van and support at local hubs, GP surgeries, family hubs, and churches
  • Hospital Liaison Recovery Coordinators at University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire and the Caludon Centre

All services are free and confidential. We welcome you to bring someone you trust to your first appointment if it helps you feel more comfortable. Our main hub is a short walk from Coventry city centre, and we also offer support at various locations across the city.

Opening times:

  • Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 09:00 - 17:00
  • Wednesday: 09:00 - 20:00
  • Saturday, Sunday: 10:00 - 14:00
