District Nursing

The Single Point of Access (SPA) Havering Referral Management Team provides a central hub for processing patient referrals to Havering Community Health and Mental Health services.

Who is this for? The SPA supports patients who live in, are registered with a GP in, or receive care in the Havering Borough. Some services also support patients from Brentwood and Barking & Dagenham.

  • Streamlined referrals: The SPA team helps you access the right community health or mental health service quickly and efficiently.
  • Signposting and advice: If you’re unsure which service you need, the SPA can guide you or provide information.
  • Multiple contact options: Dedicated phone lines and emails for general community health, mental health, and children’s (0-19) services.

Opening times:

  • Monday to Friday: 8am – 8pm
  • Weekends & Bank Holidays: 9am – 5pm

Children’s (0-19) SPA: Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm

How to refer: Referral forms for physical health and mental health are available on the website. Clinicians and patients can contact the SPA directly for advice or to make a referral.

Cost: This is a free NHS service.
