Havering Council can repair some parts of the home, including the structure, outside areas, heating, water, sanitation and utility installations. - Repairs can include drains, gutters, roofs, outside walls, doors, windows, plasterwork, ceilings and floors. - The service can cover basins, sinks, baths, toilets, waste pipes, wiring, sockets, switches, gas pipes, water pipes and central heating installations. - Emergency repairs are for issues that could risk health or safety, or cause serious damage to a property. - Emergency repairs aim to be attended within four hours. - Repairs staff and contractors carry ID. - Vulnerable residents may receive faster scheduling or extra support during a repair where appropriate.
