Seen and Heard

About Us : We support the Mental Health & Well-Being of Children, Young People and Families. We provide 1-1 and small group work for children either in school or at home, family support, workshops and training.

We provide support services within Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland.

Our Seen and Heard Project is for children and young people aged between 7-17. They must be either struggling to engage in education, have poor attendance or not attending education at all, due to their mental health or well-being (no diagnosis is required). For this project we offer 1-1 crisis interventions either within the school, at home or in the community. We offer a 12 week programme that is play based and to meet the needs of the child based on their likes, dislikes, hobbies and interests.

Our hope is that children who go through our programme leave with a better understanding of their emotions, why they feel the way they do and have found positive coping strategies. The overall outcome is that they are able to find their way back into some form of education and build healthier habits and strategies.

This project is funded by The National Lottery.
