Refuge accommodation
In 1978 Havering's first refuge was opened, and in 2010, we opened our second refuge in the borough. We are able to offer a safe place for 23 women and their children to live. Each resident will have their own key worker who will provide emotional and practical support. Our aim is to empower women to move forward and live a life free from fear and violence.

Outreach/Floating Support
We offer daily drop in advice sessions across the borough. These are to assess risk, explore options and to signpost onto our specialist support services.

Our Floating Support team offer ongoing emotional and practical support including safety planning; advocacy; obtaining civil court orders; benefits; housing; liaising with other services; support groups; building self-esteem and confidence.
