Havering Outreach Service

Free, confidential support for people in Havering who want to improve their life skills and opportunities.

About the service
We can help you develop the skills and confidence you need to have a more fulfilling and independent life. This service is confidential and completely free!

Our service is now shorter term (for up to 2 weeks) and more targeted.

Our skilled support workers provide advice on a range of topics, including:

  • Money and budgeting signposting and one off advice
  • Benefit claims and applications
  • Getting food bank vouchers
  • Blue badge applications
  • Debt and rent arrears
  • Employment, training and volunteering
  • Homelessness prevention and support
  • Housing applications
  • Discretionary housing payment applications
  • Applying for ID, passports and grants

For support with PIP payments and applications, the resident needs to have the physical form with them for the appointment. Please do not make a referral unless the resident already has their form. To get a form, you need to ring 0800 917 2222. More information on how to contact PIP, including text phone and BSL interpreters, can be found here.
