The Friendship Centre (Lancaster)

The Friendship Centre was established in 2000 by a group of older people who wanted a place to meet and socialise in the centre of Lancaster.

We offer a wide range of activities and classes to keep your brain and body fit, as well as the opportunity to meet new people and benefit from mutual support.

We are open three mornings a week, all year round except bank holidays, a one-week break in the summer, and a break at Christmas.

Daily admission is £1.50 including a hot drink and biscuits. There is a £10 annual membership fee, plus a small charge for most of the classes and activities.

We use the hall facilities at Lancaster Baptist Church. The building is fully accessible. If you require additional assistance, please bring someone with you - carers are not charged.

The Friendship Centre is a registered charity and is run by volunteers, with classes led by paid sessional tutors.
