Dial-a-Ride

London Dial-a-Ride is a door‑to‑door transport service for people with long‑term disabilities who cannot use standard public transport. To access the service you must become a member. You are automatically eligible if you meet certain criteria (for example you may be a Taxicard member, receive Higher Rate Mobility Component of DLA, receive the standard or enhanced Mobility Rate of PIP, are registered blind or partially sighted, aged 85 or over, or receive relevant attendance allowances or mobility supplements). If none of the automatic criteria apply, you may still be able to join but you will need to undergo a mobility assessment. You must be a permanent or temporary resident of a London borough to apply. Applications can be submitted by emailing membership@tfl.gov.uk or by post to London Dial‑A‑Ride, PO Box 68799, London SE1P 4RD. You can also phone 0343 222 7777 to request an application form. Once you are a member, you can book journeys using the London Dial‑a‑Ride web portal, the London Dial‑a‑Ride app, or by phone. The web portal requires sign‑in with your registered phone number or email address (via london-dial-a-ride.app.ridewithvia.com). Bookings can be made up to seven days in advance and are arranged as a shared service with a 30‑minute booking window. Buses operate 07:00–23:00; telephone enquiries are available 06:00–midnight.
