Monthly Good Grief Café
Adults and their loved ones in the North Warwickshire area who have a life limiting illness or are bereaved following a life limiting condition or illness. You do not have had to accessed Mary Ann Evans Hospice services previously. The Family Support and Bereavement team, along with our volunteers, facilitate and run a monthly ‘Good Grief Café’.
This is held currently on the second Wednesday of each month 1.30 -3.30pm in The Garden Room, in The Warren Building at Mary Ann Evans. The group environment is an informal supportive one, that allows clients a place to meet and chat with others who are bereaved. Light refreshments are provided, along with comfy chairs and informal support as required.
A relaxed atmosphere that allows any emotion that arrives on the day. The group shares tears and laughter, ideas, achievements, and problem-solving opportunities. This is encountered together as a peer group with relatable experiences.
