Community Pharmacy Stop Smoking Service

The Community Pharmacy Stop Smoking Service in Havering provides free, structured support to help adults quit smoking through local community pharmacies. The service runs as a 12-week programme with up to 8 face-to-face appointments at participating Havering pharmacies, and up to 8 weeks of nicotine replacement therapy (NRT) products. In addition to NRT, the service may include access to varenicline (a prescription medication) where appropriate. The aim is to support Havering residents to stop smoking and improve health outcomes by combining behavioural support with pharmacotherapy where suitable. Access is practical and convenient: you can simply walk into one of the listed Havering pharmacies to arrange an appointment. The participating pharmacies are Crescent Pharmacy (65 Masefield Crescent, Harold Hill RM3 7PB), Mim Pharmacy (118 North Street, Romford RM1 1DL), Ardleigh Green Pharmacy (100 Ardleigh Green Road, Hornchurch RM11 2LG), and Healthcare Pharmacy (2 Tadworth Parade, Elm Park RM12 5AS). The service is funded and provided at no cost to eligible Havering residents.
