Community Pharmacy Stop Smoking Service

Havering residents can access free, community pharmacy–based help to stop smoking through the Community Pharmacy Stop Smoking Service. The service offers a 12‑week quit programme with up to 8 face‑to‑face appointments and up to 8 weeks of nicotine replacement products, including the option of varenicline (a STOP SMOKING medication), all provided at participating local pharmacies. No appointment is needed—residents can simply walk into any listed Havering pharmacy to start. The participating pharmacies are: Crescent Pharmacy, 65 Masefield Crescent, Harold Hill RM3 7PB; Mim Pharmacy, 118 North Street, Romford RM1 1DL; Asvacare Ltd Pharmacy, 197 Rush Green Road, Romford RM7 0JR; Orchard Village Pharmacy, Mick Fury House, Lowen Road, Rainham RM13 8HT; Ardleigh Green Pharmacy, 100 Ardleigh Green Road, Hornchurch, RM11 2LG; Healthcare Pharmacy, 2 Tadworth Parade, Elm Park, RM12 5AS. In addition to in‑pharmacy support, Havering residents can download the Smokefree London app for free premium access, which provides 24/7 advisor support, a 6‑month premium app period, and up to a 12‑week supply of vape/NRT products. This service is free for Havering residents aged 12 and over. Access is via self‑referral by visiting a participating pharmacy; referrals from professionals are encouraged, and there is no charge to access the in‑pharmacy stop smoking support.
