King's Trust Team Programme - Peterborough

Team is 12-week personal development, teamwork, and confidence-building programme for 16-25s out of work and education, which leads to a recognised level 1 certificate in employability. The following activities are included, which help young people get out of their comfort zones and practice new skills:

  • Week 1: Get to know everyone and discuss the weeks coming up
  • Week 2: Residential trip away with team building activities (usually 3 nights)
  • Week 3 to 6: Plan and carry out a community project in the local area
  • Week 7 & 8: Work experience with a local employer
  • Week 9: Next steps week - Think about your future and build your CV
  • Week 10 & 11: Plan and carry out a team challenge to show support for others
  • Week 12: Celebration week: Reflect on your achievements and look ahead

All weeks are free to attend and we can help with any bus expenses within Peterborough. All you need to provide is your own lunch - except during the residential where food ingredients are provided by Tresham College (King's Trust Delivery Partner) and you help to cook them!

The next course begins on 22nd April 2025 so get signed up today!
