RiverVoice Community Choir

RiverVoice Community Choir is a super-friendly group of people from across North Kent who meet in Medway to rehearse and perform. The choir has been running for around 12 years. It started as a space for people with visual impairment to come and enjoy singing with each other. We still cater for people with visual impairment, but we now also welcome adult singers from all backgrounds and abilities and aim to build confidence and friendships across the group.

The range of our song material is vast from pop to folk and from classical to gospel.
There is no audition or requirement to read music.

The health and well-being benefits cited by RiverVoice singers include: greater control over breathing and anxiety, sense of achievement and raised confidence, relief from pain and depression, better sense of connectedness, improved cognition, higher levels of energy.
