Get support with hearing loss in Fosse Library

RNID Local Support Services offer friendly, in-person information and support for people who are deaf, have hearing loss, or experience tinnitus. Our drop-in sessions, called RNID Near You, run in towns and cities across the UK, making it easy to get help close to home.

Our welcoming teams can provide:

  • Information about deafness, hearing loss, and tinnitus
  • Support to help you maintain your hearing aids – including help with NHS hearing aids, in partnership with NHS audiology services
  • Assistance with managing your hearing loss and navigating available options
  • Free support for tinnitus (currently only in South East England)
  • Guidance on making benefits claims – find out about organisations that can help
  • Help to take our online hearing check at many sessions

RNID Near You sessions are held in community venues and sometimes as pop-up spaces on high streets or in shopping centres. Many of our services are run by volunteers who are deaf or have hearing loss or tinnitus themselves, so you’ll be supported by people who understand your experience.
