The Thanet Community Hub, run by Forward Trust, offers a comprehensive range of alcohol and substance use interventions for adults living in the Thanet area.
Our specialist service centre in Margate, along with community-based clinics in Ramsgate and Broadstairs, provides tailored drug and alcohol treatment packages. Our dedicated team of professionals works with you to find the most appropriate treatment options for your needs.
Services include:
- One-to-one and group support
- Community Rehabilitation Day Programme for structured abstinence support
- Health checks and blood-borne virus testing (including Hepatitis C)
- Detox assistance
- Outreach for homeless and rough sleeping clients
- Criminal Justice provision
- Medication assisted treatment
- Harm reduction advice and take-home naloxone
- Needle exchanges
- Peer support from those with lived experience
- Ongoing Recovery Support

- Self-referral for individuals concerned about their own drug/alcohol use
- Professional referral for practitioners or health professionals
- Criminal justice referral for those working in the justice system
