Stepping Stones offers specialist support services for women in Luton and Central Bedfordshire who have offended or are at risk of offending.
We understand that women’s offending is often linked to experiences of trauma, domestic abuse, and substance misuse. Our team is committed to helping women stop offending, find alternative ways of coping with difficult situations, and make positive choices for their future.
What we offer:
- Individualised support packages tailored to each woman’s needs, developed in partnership with Probation Officers.
- Resettlement support for women serving community sentences or licences, delivered in collaboration with Advance and Bedford Women’s Centre.
- A safe, welcoming, women-only environment for all appointments with Probation Officers.
- Participation in the Community Sentence Treatment Requirement (CSTR) Pilot, improving access to mental health and substance misuse treatment in the community.
- Multi-agency working with NHS England, National Probation Service, Her Majesty’s Court Services, East London Foundation Trust, and Bedford Women’s Centre.
