Food Friends (Kent)
Verified service

Food Friends tackles social isolation and loneliness by connecting volunteer cooks with neighbours who would benefit from a delicious home-cooked meal and friendly conversation. Volunteers deliver an extra portion of their home-cooked food, typically once a week, to a 'food friend' in their local community. The service is for individuals over 18 who live in Ashford District, Canterbury District (including Whitstable and Herne Bay), Swale District (including Faversham), and Medway. Matching and coordination are facilitated through a dedicated app. To access the service, call 01227 250 410 or complete an online referral form for your area.
