Andover mind

Andover Mind is your local mental health charity, supporting people across mid and north Hampshire. We offer a wide range of services for adults, young people, and families experiencing mental ill health, including:

  • Wellbeing support – practical help, emotional support, and guidance for anyone struggling with their mental health.
  • Counselling – professional, confidential sessions to help you manage anxiety, depression, bereavement, and other challenges.
  • Safe Haven – crisis support in safe, welcoming spaces in Andover, Basingstoke, and Aldershot.
  • Be You – dedicated mental health support for young people aged 11-17.
  • Ukrainian Support Project – tailored help for Ukrainian refugees and their families.
  • Ugly Duckling Project – skill-building, creative activities, and friendship groups to boost self-esteem and wellbeing.
  • Information and advice – resources on mental health, self-care, and how to access help.

We are committed to making our services inclusive and accessible for diverse and marginalised communities. Our team is here to listen, support, and help you find hope for the future. You don’t have to face mental health challenges alone – Andover Mind is here for you.

How to access our services:

  • Call us, email, or visit our head office in Andover.
  • We also have wellbeing bases in Basingstoke, Farnborough, Aldershot, and Romsey.
  • Some services may require a referral from a wellbeing practitioner.

Cost: Many services are free or low-cost. Donations help us continue our work – for example, £5 could allow us to answer 10 calls for help, and £30 could pay for a trained staff member to support a session.

Contact us today to find out more, refer yourself or someone else, or get immediate help.
