Medway Safe Haven offers 24/7 mental health support for adults aged 18 and over in the Kent area. This walk-in service (often described as a 'crisis cafe') provides information and emotional support from trained mental health professionals. You can come for a chat or access one-to-one emotional support. Staff can help you create staying well and crisis plans, and can support you to access other services and organisations as needed. We work closely with GPs, Community Mental Health Teams, Crisis Teams, A&E Mental Health Liaison Teams, Police and Ambulance Services to ensure that people in emotional distress have a safe, supportive place to go, with appropriate mental health support available.
