Homemakers from Age UK Lambeth is a friendly, reliable service designed to help older adults in Lambeth maintain their independence and enjoy a better quality of life at home.
Our fully trained, DBS/reference-checked Homemakers go beyond traditional cleaning. They take the time to understand your needs and support you in ways that make daily life easier and more enjoyable. We offer:
- Light housework
- Running errands
- Shopping
- Companionship and conversation
What makes us different?
- Our team is equipped with PPE for your safety
- We do not offer personal care
- All staff are paid the London Living Wage
- All profits are reinvested into the Homemakers service
Pricing: The hourly rate is £27, with a minimum booking of £40.50 for 1.5 hours. Please note, failing to cancel your appointment at least 48 hours in advance will incur a cancellation fee.
How to access: To make a referral, you can use our online referral form, call us, or email us. This service is only available to residents within Age UK Lambeth - Head Office's catchment area.
