Oakhaven Wellbeing Support Services are here for anyone affected by a life-limiting illness, carers, and those living with loss or bereavement. You do not need a healthcare referral to access our support, activities, and services.
We offer a welcoming space at the Coates Centre within Oakhaven Hospice, as well as outreach in the local community. Our services include:
- Support groups for patients, families, and anyone in the community
- Bereavement support groups and activities
- Complementary therapy and workshops (e.g., managing insomnia, stress reduction, chair yoga)
- Creative and social activities such as art classes, journaling groups, and singing sessions
- Information and advice for carers
Our trained volunteers are available to chat, offer information, and provide a friendly, supportive environment. You are welcome to drop in to the Coates Centre Monday to Friday, 10am–4pm (closed bank holidays), or join us at community venues.
Access is free and open to all in our local area. We aim to help you connect with others, improve wellbeing, and find comfort and understanding during challenging times.
To find out more or to express interest, visit our website or contact us directly. We look forward to supporting you.
