The Rame Centre

The Rame Centre is a welcoming community hub in Millbrook, Cornwall, run by The Peninsula Trust and a friendly team of volunteers.

Open Monday to Saturday, the centre offers a wide range of practical support and opportunities for local residents, including:

  • Computer access, scanning, and printing for those needing digital resources.
  • Food bank donation and collection to support those in need.
  • A warm space for anyone seeking comfort and community.
  • Micro library for borrowing books and enjoying reading.
  • Outreach Post Office services available on Mondays and Thursdays.
  • Art workshops and a community art wall for local artists and craft makers to showcase their work.
  • Training and meeting space for groups and organisations.
  • Advertising window for local events and initiatives, with weekly changes to highlight community activities.

Residents can book one-to-one appointments with our Local Support Worker for help with crisis grants, housing advice and advocacy, benefits information, and signposting to other support organisations. The centre has built a strong local network to ensure people receive meaningful and relevant information and guidance.

Room hire: The training room is available to rent from £6 an hour. Contact us to check availability and book.
