Gambling Support in Nottingham

TimeOut Gambling Project is a dedicated gambling recovery service for Nottingham city, provided by Double Impact. We are passionate about starting conversations, reducing stigma around gambling harms, and empowering individuals to recover.

Our service offers:

  • 1-1 holistic support, including screening and recovery planning tailored to your goals, strengths, and assets.
  • Guided peer-led support groups for shared experience and encouragement.
  • Help accessing wider and specialist support, including cultural support through our partner Al-Hurraya.
  • Resources and guidance for individuals affected by gambling, those impacted by someone else's gambling, and professionals/referrers.

Monthly Gambling Help and Support Clinic: On the last Thursday of every month, we run an appointment-based clinic at the Wellbeing Hub Nottingham (73 Hounds Gate, NG1 6BB) in partnership with GamCare and Nottingham Recovery Network. Here, you can discuss gambling harms and worries with a trained professional and complete a referral for further treatment and support.

Immediate Help: If you or someone you know is in crisis due to gambling, you can speak directly to a trained advisor via the 24/7 National Gambling Helpline (0808 8020 133) or live chat at www.gamcare.org.uk.

Resources: Access comprehensive guides, debt/financial help, and useful tools such as apps and gambling website blocking software. These are available for browsing, downloading, printing, or sharing.

How to access: You can self-refer, refer someone else, or contact us via phone, email, or webchat. We welcome anyone affected by gambling harms, including family members and professionals seeking advice.
