The Deanesly Centre is a purpose built centre open in June 1996 and is built around an open courtyard within the grounds of New Cross Hospital. The centre serves a population of one million, covering Wolverhampton, Dudley, the Wyre Forrest, Walsall and part of South Staffordshire. We provide a full complement of high quality clinical and support services.
We have Clinical Oncology Consultants and Medical Oncology Consultants who also hold satellite clinics in Dudley and Cannock. In addition we have Consultant Haematologists who provide the clinical haematology service.
Finally, Palliative Care Consultants with links to local Hospices provide a specialist car service. Staff work very closely with other members across the Trust who are involved in the provision of cancer services; including involvement in multi-disciplinary meetings with specialist teams.
A referral into cancer services at New Cross Hospital is required by either a GP or a Qualified Clinician.
