Inspire

We support children and young people from Wolverhampton who have a learning disability, as well as their families. We also provide support and guidance to other professionals who work with children and young people with a learning disability. We work with young people from birth up to the age of 18yrs. We help children and young people with a learning disability:who feel sad or upset or unhappy, who sometimes get very angry, who need to learn how to do things for themselves – such as washing, dressing, going to the toilet, who sometimes have difficult thoughts that are hard to ignore or that make them feel unhappy or scared. To learn how to get on with other people. We offer community based support and a range of ways to help that include 1-1 therapy support, group support, family working, consultation to professionals and services, teaching and training, skills training. Support can be offered at home, at school or in other community settings.
