Deal Area Foodbank & Pantry
Verified service

Deal Area Foodbank provides emergency food supplies to local people in crisis. We are part of a nationwide network of foodbanks, supported by the Trussell Trust, and have been serving the community since 2012.

Our foodbank offers 3-day emergency food parcels to individuals and families facing hardship. Last year, we fed 3667 people in need. We work on a voucher referral system — you will need a voucher from a referral agency to access food support.

How to get help:

  • Contact us by phone for guidance on how to obtain a foodbank voucher.
  • Speak to Dover, Deal & District Citizens Advice (01304 202442) for referral and voucher issuance.
  • If you are in financial crisis, you can also call the free national helpline (0808 2082138) for confidential advice and support.

Additional support:

  • Translators are available via Language Line.
  • Relay UK is available for those who can't hear or speak on the phone.

How you can help:

  • Donate food or money to support our work.
  • Volunteer your time — we rely on local volunteers to keep our service running.

We are here to help anyone in crisis, regardless of background. Please reach out if you need support or want to get involved.
