Join our Dementia Support Services available across the Island, specifically designed for caregivers and individuals living with dementia. Our programs provide a friendly and relaxed environment where you can connect with others facing similar challenges, receiving support and advice from our trained staff and volunteers.
**Peer-to-Peer Dementia Support Group**
- **When**: Every 1st Wednesday of the Month
- **Time**: 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM
- **Where**: Sheerness East Working Men’s Club
- **Eligibility**: Open to individuals recently diagnosed with dementia and their caregivers.
**What We Offer:**
- A safe space to share experiences and support one another.
- Emotional reassurance during the adjustment period.
- Practical advice and tips from peers.
- A community atmosphere that fosters belonging and empowerment.
All staff and volunteers are vetted by the Disclosure and Barring Service, ensuring a safe environment for all participants.
