Exercise Referral Scheme

The Exercise Referral Scheme offers Huntingdonshire residents a supported pathway to increased activity and improved health through a personalised 12-week programme with a named Physical Activity & Exercise Specialist. Entry points are either a direct referral from a registered health professional or via self-referral. The scheme is delivered through One Leisure facilities and run by the Council's Active Lifestyles Team. The programme includes a 12-week activity plan with regular reviews and four one-to-one meetings with your specialist. There are three access options with different gym and swimming entitlements and fees: Daytime (Mon–Fri 6.30am–4.30pm; weekend access; Health professional referral £63 one-off; Self-Referral £77.50 one-off), Anytime (gym access during opening hours plus swimming; Health professional referral £85 one-off; Self-Referral £90 one-off), and All-in (access to all four One Leisure centres; fitness classes; off-peak court hire; Health professional referral £30 per month via direct debit for 3 months; Self-Referral £33.50 per month via direct debit for 3 months). Health professionals may refer if the patient is over 16; self-referral is open to residents 18+. An After Care Scheme is also available after completion for a £10 fee for a 30-minute review.
