Dons Local Action Group is a community-driven network of volunteers dedicated to fighting the effects of poverty across South West London. We support people facing severe financial hardship in Merton, Wandsworth, and Kingston by providing essential items and practical help.
What we offer:
- Food parcels for individuals and families in need, helping to ensure no one goes hungry.
- Household goods, furniture, and appliances to help people set up or maintain a safe and comfortable home.
- Laptops for children through our Keep Kids Connected initiative, supporting access to online learning and education.
We work closely with schools, councils, charities, and other partners to make sure help gets to where it’s needed most. Our volunteers are active seven days a week, packing, delivering, and supporting thousands of people each year.
Our impact:
- Distributed food for over 7 million meals
- Provided 3,700 laptops to children
- Delivered thousands of items of furniture
