Lightwave Cafe and Foodbank

Helping Hand is a welcoming support service provided by Lightwave, open to people of any faith background or none. We are here especially for those who may not already be involved in the local community.

Drop in to our Cafe on Mondays and Thursdays for a friendly chat and support. If you are coping with challenges such as mental health issues, domestic abuse, addictions, homelessness, or isolation, our team is here to listen and help.

  • Food bags and debt advice are available every Monday from 10am to 1pm.
  • No appointment needed—just come along during opening times.
  • We offer a safe, supportive space to connect, share, and find practical help.

Everyone is welcome, whether you need advice, a listening ear, or simply some company. Our team is ready to support you in a caring and non-judgmental environment.
