Join our free family cookery courses and discover the joy of cooking together!

Cooking with your family is a wonderful way to spend quality time, try new ingredients, and learn practical skills that last a lifetime. Medway Council offers a range of free cookery courses for families and individuals of all ages and abilities.

  • Family Cookery: Designed for families with school-aged children (5 to 17 years), this term-time course helps children learn new cookery skills, understand the importance of a balanced diet, and try healthy recipes. Courses run at local hubs across Medway.

All courses are free and take place at various locations across Medway.

Courses are free and open to families with children aged 5 to 17, with basic to intermediate cooking skills. To join, register your interest by phone or email. Some courses may have a waiting list.
