Hestia’s Age Activity Centre (AAC) is an open access day centre for older people aged 60+ living in Wandsworth. It’s designed to help you socialise, make new friends, learn new skills (including IT), and take part in activities that support health and wellbeing, falls prevention, and staying independent.
Activities include art and crafts, choir, yoga, tai chi, dance classes, IT classes, dominoes and quizzes, plus a lunch club and breakfast club. The centre also offers advice and information, signposting to other services, support to carers, and help with falls prevention. Occasional day trips and special events (e.g. Christmas and Easter) are also available.
Open Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays, 10am–4pm (closed weekends and Bank Holidays). To find out more or to come along, contact the centre by phone or email.
