Exeter FREE Yoga4MentalHealth 8-Wk Course, Start:20th April '26

Next Session:  20th April 2026.  Mondays 10 am until 11:30 am.

An Explanation:  8- consecutive weeks, 1.5 hours per session, led by a Prof. Yoga4MentalHealth PCI Level Yoga & Breathing Instructor. Confirmation of 6 out of 8 of the dated sessions,  commitment is absolutely necessary.
 
Purpose.
 
Sessions start at 10 am and finish at 11:30 am & follow a Personalized Care Institute Protocol.  

-Promote greater parasympathetic dominance
-Tone the Vagus Nerve
-Enhance Cardiovascular system health
-Improve psychological flexibility
-Facilitate social bonding.

Sessions are inclusive and are available in a chair in its entirety or optionally you can progress to the mat.

Getting to the X-Centre, Exeter.
 
Those travelling from the direction of Newton Abbot may wish to opt to travel by train. The closest train station to the X-Centre is St Thomas (approx. 10-minute walk).Car Parks For those driving, we recommend you use Haven Banks Car parks 2 or 3 as they provide best value for money.  Zone 3 car parks - Zone 3 car parks - Haven Banks Car Park - Two - Exeter City Council- The nearest car park to the X-Centre is the Cathedral and City and is approximately a 5-minute walk away.   Zone 2 car parks - Cathedral & Quay Car Park - Exeter City Council.  Zone 2 car parks - Cathedral & Quay Car Park - Exeter City Council
 
 
Requirements
 
Access to fresh water; there are toilets on the ground floor (including disabled).  Mats are supplied, as are cushioned, foam blocks, a strap and a good quality chair.
