Tower Hamlets In Work Support

Tower Hamlets In Work Support is a dedicated service, part of the Tower Hamlets Employment Hub, that helps people living in Tower Hamlets who are experiencing mental health challenges to stay in work or return to work. The service also supports employers to understand and respond to mental health needs in the workplace. The team provides practical, person-centred assistance to help you navigate work-related challenges and stay connected to employment. Key features include 1:1 support tailored to your needs, guidance on planning a safe return to work after a sickness absence, and help putting in place workplace adjustments. Staff can work with you and your employer to implement reasonable changes, support wellbeing at work, and offer information about employment rights and how to access them. The service is confidential and aims to be flexible, working with you to suit your preferences and circumstances. For employers, the service can deliver mental health awareness training and provide resources to improve understanding and support for staff with mental health needs. Leaflets (including Tamil-language materials) are available in the Leaflet resource section for additional information. Cost: If you are a Tower Hamlets resident, there is no cost to engage with the service. Engagement outside of Tower Hamlets may incur a small fee on a case-by-case basis. Access is typically through the organisation’s Leaflet resources and associated information pages; specifics are provided in the Leaflet section.
