Plaistow Library Activities for Adults

Plaistow Library offers the following activities for adults:

  • ESOL - Takes place on Mondays and Tuesdays from 09.30am to 3pm. Booking Required. To Book, please call 0208 149 5200.
  • Knit and Knatter - Takes place on Mondays and Fridays from 10am to 12pm. No booking required.
  • Coffee Morning - Takes place on the 3rd Tuesday of each month from 11.00am to 12.30pm (dates/time could be subject to change, contact the library if you want to be added to our list and for confirmation of date and time).                                     
  • Learn My Way - Takes place on Tuesdays 10am to 12pm. Booking Required. (We currently have a waiting list.) Please contact the library if you want to be added and/or if you want further information. 
  • English Conversation Club - Takes place on Thursdays from 1.00pm to 2.00pm (Term time only).
  • Reading Group - Takes place on the 1st Thursday of the month from 6.45pm to 7.45pm.
  • ASK User-Led Mental Health Groups: Women's Group - Wednesday 10.30am to 12.30pm, Men's Group - Friday 2.30pm to 4.30pm, ASK runs a Forum held every 6 weeks, 1.30-4.30pm. Please contact askulmhg.info@gmail.com for further information on the forum dates.
  • Unique Stars Dominoes Group-  Takes place on Wednesdays from 2pm-4.30pm. 
  • Social walks- Takes place on Tuesdays and Saturdays from 10am to 11am and walks will start at Plaistow Library
  • Home Library Service- Want to borrow a book, audiobook or DVD? Are you unable to visit a library? The home library service can bring the library to you. Please email or contact us for further information if you or you know anyone who can benefit from this service.
