Place to Be Dementia Cafe

The Place to Be Dementia Café is a community run activity group supporting people living with dementia, their carers and older isolated adults who would like to attend a local social group.    We have a range of activities each week including a quiz and word search, puzzles, board games, arts and crafts and musical entertainment.   Guests are welcome to come along to have a cup of tea, home made cake and the social environment.    We also offer a supportive space to discuss dementia and the caring role with others in a similar situation.   Many of our volunteers have experience of caring for a person with dementia and we are able to signpost you to local support services including the local Team at the Alzheimer's Society.
