Easy Shop is a friendly and reliable service from Age UK Berkshire, designed to help anyone who finds it difficult to get to the shops. We work in partnership with local supermarkets to make regular grocery shopping easy and convenient, with everything delivered straight to your home.
How does Easy Shop work?
- One of our team will visit you in your own home and set up the system for you.
- We will phone you at an agreed time to take your shopping list.
- We place your order with the supermarket of your choice and arrange for them to deliver your shopping at a pre-arranged time.
Cost: We charge £8 per order for arranging the service, in addition to the cost of your shopping. Supermarkets may also charge a small delivery fee. This is much more cost-effective than paying a Care Worker to do your shopping for you (which may cost as much as £40). Easy Shop at £8 each time is cheaper and highly recommended by our customers.
