During our 2-day New Foundations course, you will look at your existing skills and qualities and, supported by National Careers Advisors, you will aim high and set some personal goals.
You will:
- have a 1-to-1 appointment with a careers advisor to discuss your previous skills, qualifications and experience
- be listened to
- address barriers and be supported to overcome these
- finish the 2-day course with an action plan - this might be training, volunteering, work on soft skills, steps to employment - whatever is best for you.
At The Hope Foundation, we work in partnership with Middlesbrough College and can support learners with physical or learning difficulties and disabilities. We have a range of digital and technological aids which learners can try out and can explore solutions for childcare support.
