Acorn Day Service

Specialist support for adults with learning disabilities. A safe and friendly environment with experienced staff, dedicated to supporting people to achieve their personal goals.

We’re always trying out new things and our customers play an important role in how we work. From choosing what activities we offer, to lending a hand with everyday tasks like washing up, cleaning and gardening, we encourage everyone to learn skills at their own pace.

We offer lots of ways for individuals to focus on their well-being, interests, hobbies and to make friends.

Some of our activities include…

  • Art and crafts including pottery
  • Sports and fitness
  • Sensory experience
  • Gardening
  • Communication skills and signing
  • Advocacy

All of our activities can be flexible and vary according to our group's choices, interests and local events.

We know how important making friends and being part of a wider community is, that’s why we focus on developing links and relationships. We regularly take part in community campaigns to make a positive difference within our local community.
