
Shine are an outreach team of Sexual Health Advisors . Shine work with young people aged 21 and under, including under 16s and up to 24 with SEND.
Shine provide:
- Sexual Health (nurse led) drop in clinics for 21s and under, every Wednesday, 4:15-7:15pm at West Ham Lane Health Centre, Stratford, E15 4PT. Shine services are FREE, confidential, non-judgemental and offer:
- sexual health and relationship information
- STI testing
- condoms & C-Cards
- pregnancy testing and support around pregnancy choices
- contraception
- emergency contraception
No appointment required
- Programmes of Relationship and Sex Education, and support for young people that are identified as at risk of unhealthy relationships and sexual experiences. Programmes are fully funded and are available for individuals and groups that have a connection to Newham, including living, working, studying or LAC. Professional or self-referral required. - Health promotion at local events, youth clubs, colleges and schools. This can include stalls, STI screening, c-card sign ups, presentations, assemblies and drop in sessions. Please email shine.info@nhs.net to enquire.
