HELPING IN SCHOOLS PATHWAY

From supporting the children with homework to understanding what goes on at school this pathway will take students from a helping hand at home to gaining skills, and maybe even a new career! Students will understand the way in which each subject is taught as well as the systems in place to provide children with extra support

L2 Award in Support Work in Schools ad Colleges

This course is aimed at anyone who is already working or volunteering in a school setting or who is wishing to volunteer or gain employment in this area. In this course students will learn about child development, safeguarding, communication and understanding the school context. This is an accredited course and students gain a formal qualification accredited by NCFE.
